AID Partners

For AID Partners on Hong Kong Island, Artwill shaped a calm, gallery-like office where a glowing onyx wall does the talking and every surface is kept quietly luxurious.

The reception sets the tone the moment you arrive. A full-height feature wall, clad in panels of backlit honey-toned onyx, carries the AID Partners mark and washes the entrance in a soft, golden light. We framed it within warm taupe walls and a polished cream tile floor so the stone reads as the hero, its natural veining lit from behind like a lightbox. A classical framed landscape on the side wall and slender mosaic-mirror figures, each on its own dark plinth, turn the lobby into a small curated gallery rather than a corporate foyer.

Deeper inside, the material story stays warm but turns more tactile. The lounge and meeting room are floored in light maple, layered with a deep taupe shag rug, and anchored by a sofa and swivel chairs in soft oatmeal and mocha upholstery. A modular checkerboard coffee table in black and cream sits at the centre, while a long floating ledge in pale wood runs the wall beneath a large projection screen flanked by dark sliding panels, keeping technology tidy and the sightlines clean. Floor-to-ceiling glazing brings in the city beyond and a real sense of daylight.

Throughout, the detailing is deliberate and unhurried: recessed square downlights and a concealed cove glow give an even, flattering wash; full-height timber-framed doors in smoked glass lead to the private rooms; and a carved sculpture on a timber block punctuates the corridor. The result is an interior design that feels composed, confident and distinctly hospitable, exactly the impression a private investment house wants to make. If you are planning an office or commercial fit-out in Hong Kong, we would love to hear from you.
