Hong Kong interior design portfolio, let the work speak
78 Hong Kong residential and commercial projects led by Regina Kwok and our studio team, from the first measured site survey through floor plans, 3D renderings, material specifications, and on to the custom joinery and stone installation handled by our partner factories under our oversight. We are not an aggregator platform. We do not represent work from other firms. Projects span all 18 Hong Kong districts: Mid-Levels, Kowloon Tong, Pak Shek Kok, Wan Chai, Happy Valley, Ho Man Tin, Yau Yat Tsuen, Tung Chung, Discovery Bay, Ma On Shan, Tuen Mun, Sai Kung, Sha Tin, Tai Po, Tseung Kwan O, Causeway Bay, and Central. About 70 percent of the work is residential (resale full-flat renovations plus new-development handover fit-outs); the remaining 30 percent commercial, concentrated in Causeway Bay, Central, Wan Chai, and Kowloon Tong offices and retail spaces. Every photograph is a real installation shot taken by a Hong Kong interior photographer after completion, not a 3D render substitute, and free of wide-angle distortion. What you see here is what you walk into after handover.
What does Hong Kong interior design cost?
Two engagement structures. Design-only covers floor plans, 3D renderings, material specifications, construction drawings, and site supervision; the client signs their own construction contract. Design and build depends on finish level and joinery scope, with the construction contract held by Artwill directly. Most Artwill clients choose design and build for the single accountability point. Pricing is quoted per project after a free consultation. Final pricing is confirmed only after the free first consultation and measured site survey.
How to use this case library to choose a designer
Browsing interior design case studies is not about looking at pretty photographs. It is about reading a firm's design quality, execution capability, and client service through the work. Pick 3 to 5 projects with floor area, ceiling height, and building type close to your own unit, then look closely at the following 4 things:
- 01
Signature consistency
Good design firms do not switch aesthetic frameworks between every project. After looking at 10 case studies, you should recognise their distinctive design language (material preferences, sense of proportion, lighting layers).
- 02
Relevance to your project
The case type should match your unit type: if you have a new-development handover, look at new-development case studies; if you have a village house, look at village house cases. Beautiful but unrelated photographs offer limited reference value.
- 03
Detail-level depth
Look at the joint between custom joinery panels, the seam between countertop and wall, the depth of recessed lighting installations. These reveal craft quality, not the surface gloss of a 3D render.
- 04
District familiarity
How many projects has the firm completed in your district? Do they have experience with the same building type? This affects their familiarity with local building structure, Buildings Department customs, and noise-window regulations.
Interior design portfolio, common questions
- Which Hong Kong districts are Artwill's 78 projects in?
- Artwill has completed projects across all 18 Hong Kong districts since 2004. Most frequent: Mid-Levels, Kowloon Tong, Pak Shek Kok, Wan Chai, Happy Valley. Other residential districts include Tseung Kwan O, Tung Chung, Sai Kung, Ma On Shan, Tuen Mun, Sha Tin, Tai Po. Commercial projects are concentrated in Causeway Bay, Central, Wan Chai, and Kowloon Tong.
- How are Artwill's projects ordered on this page?
- Sorted by completion date, newest first. Use the filter chips to browse by Residential, Commercial, or Specialized categories, or filter by district and property type (luxury homes, new developments, villa, duplex). Each project card displays the project location, year completed, and the Artwill role on that project (design, design and build, or project management).
- What is the difference between Artwill's portfolio and aggregator platforms like Toby or HelloDecoman?
- Those are aggregator platforms (aggregating projects from many renovation companies); they do not reflect the quality of any single design firm. Artwill's case library is 78 Hong Kong projects completed by Regina-led design teams, from first measured survey to handover. Every case can be traced back to the same designers, the same partner factories, and the same design philosophy.
- Are these photographs original installation shots, not retouched renderings?
- They are photographed by Hong Kong interior photographers 1 to 3 months after project completion (after client furniture has moved in). Colours are basically balanced to ensure accurate display of true finish colours (avoiding the 'computer render look'), but we do not apply wide-angle distortion or digital colour replacement.
- How is Hong Kong interior design typically priced?
- Interior design fees are typically structured two ways: design-only (covering floor plans, 3D renderings, material specifications, construction drawings); combined design and build (depending on finish level and joinery scope). Pricing depends on unit size, finish level, and joinery scope, and is quoted per project after a free consultation. Fees on enquiry.
- Can I use these case studies as reference for my own unit?
- Yes. We recommend choosing 3 to 5 cases with floor area, ceiling height, and building type (new development, resale, village house) close to your unit. Artwill offers a 30-minute free phone consultation; bring your selected cases and unit floor plan to our Wan Chai studio and we can discuss design feasibility and budget range on the spot.
