South China Building is an interior design project completed by Artwill Interior Design House in 2007, located in Hong Kong Island, a 5,800 sq. ft. unit handled by Regina Kwok and the design team across Interior design.

A 5,800-square-foot office at South China Building in Central, an interior design project for a family business where the next generation was steadily stepping up.

Before we drew anything, we spent time understanding how the company actually worked, and noticed how much the younger members of the family had come to shape it. That observation set the theme: a workplace that holds onto the firm's heritage while making room for the new. The office was where the owners met clients and partners and kept a small core team, so the plan had to be genuinely functional.

We laid it out around how the business moves through a day. A generous reception with an adjoining lounge to receive visitors and staff, an open floor for the team, a large rectangular boardroom for meetings, and two private offices for the principals. Durability and a style that would not date quickly were non-negotiable, since this is a room the family will use for years.

Against that practical bones, we added warmth. Colourful furnishings, bright lighting, and timber finishes nod to the family-business culture, while marble floors and plenty of greenery speak to the company's appetite for long-term growth. The joinery was made to measure by our trusted partner factory, so the fitted pieces hold a clean, lasting line.
