A flat with a stunning sea view is many people's dream; the real luxury is interior design shaped around how one family of four actually lives. So we re-arranged the plan to make it flexible and unhurried, folding the space of one bedroom into the living area. That room now doubles as a study and piano room and a place for parents and child to be together, and because the two spaces flow into each other, so does the view.

The mood is natural with a light, considered touch of luxury. Fabric, wood, an earth-tone palette, and curved lines give the home its calm; a display shelf in marble and bronze-finished steel, together with bubble-glass lighting, lifts it just enough. Nearly all of these pieces were custom-made by our trusted partner factory, so the detailing stays consistent from room to room.

After the changes, the master bedroom was left with a single window, which could easily have felt closed in. Instead we used glass partitions to separate the sleeping area, the ensuite bathroom, and a small study, letting that one window's light reach all three and making the whole suite feel more open than its footprint suggests.
