Corbis came to us because the company had grown and simply needed more room. The ideal they described was an office that could carry playful, colourful energy without losing its professional footing, so the design had to walk that line: bright and characterful where it counts, composed and credible everywhere a client would see.

The way the team worked set the layout. People here move between heads-down solo work and stretches of close collaboration, so the floor had to support both rhythms rather than force one. We planned a mix of open shared areas for the collaborative spells alongside quieter spots for focused work, the kind of workplace interior design that lets a day flow between the two without friction.

Because this was an upsizing rather than a touch-up, the new floor plate had to feel like room to keep growing into, not just more desks. Holding the brief's brighter, more colourful spirit inside a clear, professional shell, we gave Corbis a Central office that reads as confident to visiting clients and stays genuinely good to work in day to day.
